Some reasons to consider:
• Not all multipurpose solutions come with cases inside.
• Surely you need at least one extra case to carry in your bag when you are away from home. It is very common that due to environmental issues or various inconveniences, you must remove your lenses and keep them or repeat the cleaning process.
• You can lose the case that included the multipurpose solution.

•  For Soft contact lenses (SCL’s) (extended wear, daily wear, toric, colored, multifocal ,and Astigmatism lenses) it is recommended to use models A, B, C,D and H.
• For rigid gas permeable lenses (RGP’s): it is recommended to use the F model.

The best case for you is the one that most conveniently fits your lifestyle. For more information visit the products section, featured properties.

Unlike the rest of the cases, model B offers a magnifying glass effect both in its lid and in its receptacle, generating an enlarged view of the lens inside, which positions it as an ideal case for those patients with a notorious loss of vision.
The model B case is the only case in the line that allows hot sterilization (it can be boiled for sterilization).

Cases, like contact lenses, can generate accumulation of unwanted bacteria and proteins that could cause problems in your visual health. That is why it is not advisable to use them beyond the periods established by the manufacturer.

•  Model A and C: It is recommended that you replace the case once a month.
• Model B, D,H, E and F: As they are more resistant cases, it is recommended that you replace them once every three months.

No. Running water or any type of water does not have the hygiene and moisturizing effects provided by multipurpose solutions.
You should always use a multipurpose solution to preserve and sanitize both contact lenses and the case.

Just like your contact lenses, the case can collect bacteria. That is why it is important that you maintain correct and frequent hygiene of them.

No, you should not use soap or any other type of chemical cleaner. You should only use the multipurpose solution.

Taking the advice of the most important brands of multipurpose solutions for contact lenses, we leave you with two recommendations that you can use to clean your cases:
a) Wash your hands well before handling your lenses and case, dump out any used cleaning solution, then rinse the case with new cleaning solution, dry it with tissue paper and leave it open and airing until its next use.
b) Wash your hands thoroughly before handling your lenses and case, dump out any used cleaning solution, then rinse the case with fresh cleaning solution, discard any remaining liquid, and turn the case upside down on a clean surface and let it dry until its next use.

Contact lens cases are made of plastic material. Keep in mind that they can be recycled like any other plastic container. Take them to the nearest recycling spot to your home.
